For many years, the Hindu community in Exeter and across Devon has thrived through shared faith and resilient spirit. However, we have always been a community on the move—gathering in rented community halls, temporary spaces, and local venues to celebrate our most sacred traditions. While these spaces have served us well, the time has come for us to establish a permanent home.

The Exeter Hindu Cultural Centre is on a mission to build or purchase a dedicated facility that will serve as both a traditional Temple and a vibrant Cultural Hub. This will be more than just a building; it will be:

• A Sacred Space: A permanent sanctuary for daily prayer, meditation, and spiritual reflection.

• A Cultural Anchor: A place where our children can learn about their heritage, language, and arts, ensuring our traditions are passed down to future generations.

• A Community Beacon: A welcoming venue for all residents of Devon to learn about Hindu culture, fostering greater understanding and unity.

• A Support Network: A hub for social services, providing a "home away from home" for international students and newcomers to the region.
